Spectral Throw (5e Spell)

You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a ranged attack with it against one creature within 90 feet of you. During the casting of this spell, that weapon gains the thrown property with a normal range of 30 feet and a long range of 90 feet. If your weapon already has the thrown property with a normal range greater than 30 feet, you can use that value instead, but you cannot benefit from a normal or long throwing range greater than this spell's range.

Spectral Throw
Transmutation cantrip
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Self (90-foot radius)
Components: S, M (a melee weapon worth at least 1 sp)
Duration: 1 round

As you attack, you create a shimmering, ghostly duplicate of your weapon which is thrown instead of the real one. On a hit, the target suffers the attack's normal effects, and the damage dealt is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities. Hit or miss, the duplicate weapon disappears immediately after the attack is resolved.
