This spell increases the effective caster level of the caster by 1 level. This does not allow the caster to cast spells above his level ability, but it does increase the caster's level in terms of duration, range, saving throws, and effects.
For every five caster levels after the 1st, the effect increases by 1 (+2 caster levels at 5th level, +3 caster levels at 10th, +4 caster levels at 15th, and +5 caster levels at 20th).
