Saving Throws Str +6, Con +4 Brief Flight. As a bonus action, the lanmola gains a magical fly speed of 40 feet until the start of its next turn. It cannot use this bonus action if it did so on its last turn. Subterranean Ambush. If the lanmola begins its turn underground, it gains advantage on the first attack roll it makes above ground in the same turn. ACTIONSWounded Multiattack. The lanmola makes one bite attack and one rock shot attack. When its hit points are 30 or lower, it can make one additional attack. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage. Rock Shot. Ranged Spell Attack: +3 to hit, range 90 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d12) bludgeoning damage.

A lanmola appears as a gigantic centipede-like worm between 15 and 30 feet in length, and is usually of a brown or green color. They can most often be found in caverns and dry mountainous terrain, where they create and burrow through complex labyrinths created by their digging mandibles. Almost any prey that wanders into their domain is quickly felled with a sudden pouncing bite from underground, chomping hard enough to cleave a goat in half. A group of two or three lanmola often patrol an area of shared habitat. Instinctive Magic. For reasons unknown, a lanmola possesses minor magical ability it uses to manipulate space and force in a limited capacity. It uses this force to gain brief flight, and to flick rocks to hit far-off prey.
