As an action you begin concentrating on the spell during which you cannot take an action or cast spells and your movement is halved. While concentrating a creature takes 1d6 psychic damage once they are within 5 feet of you or begin their turn within this area.

At Higher Levels. This spell's damage increases by 1d6 and range increases by 5 feet when you reach 5th level (2d6), (10 feet), 11th level (3d6), (15 feet), and 17th level (4d6), (20 feet).
