Fire Absorption. Whenever the flame bubble is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead gains a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.

Fire Cloak. The flame bubble’s body is burning with magical fire, which sheds light as a torch. Any creature which physically touches it takes 7 (2d6) fire damage. and takes another 3 (1d6) fire damage at the end of each of its turns unless it uses its action to extinguish the flames. After a creature takes damage from touching the bubble or the bubble takes cold damage, the bubble's fire goes out until the end of its next turn or if it is subjected to fire damage.

Enchanted Flames. While the flame bubble's fire cloak is active, it gains resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. It also receives a flying speed (hover) of 35 feet. If the flame goes out while it is suspended in the air, it falls to the ground.

Magic Resistance. The flame bubble has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

ACTIONS

Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage, and the target is exposed to the bubble’s fire cloak if it is active.

See Bubble.

Commonly found in ancient crypts and deep lava caverns, these creatures known as flame bubbles, or red bubbles, are tough indeed. As with any type of bubble, their appearance is that of a freakishly large and deformed hylian skull with two small, bat-like wings. These bubbles, however, boast a powerful fire that projects from within their bodies. Unless put-out, this flame protects them from physical attacks, and damages their foes.

gollark: Oh, so very h.
gollark: Did you know potatOS has heavlisp now? And a prime factorizer which is actually very performant? I don't know if anyone else who did not happen to read me being excited about them knows this.
gollark: I mean, to be fair, the "really detailed" part is buried somewhere after the features list and possibly safety warnings and is about 15 sentences at most.

gollark: I wrote a really detailed README explaining much of the potatOS architecture and to this day I don't know if anyone actually read it.
