Dive Attack. If the aeralfos is flying and dives at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee weapon attack, the attack deals an extra 13 (3d8) damage to the target.

Flyby. The aeralfos doesn't provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

Heated Body. A creature that touches the aeralfos or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of the aeralfos takes 3 (1d6) fire damage.

Heated Weapons. Any metal melee weapon the aeralfos wields deals an extra 3 (1d6) fire damage on a hit (included in the attack).

Illumination. The aeralfos sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The aeralfos makes two shortsword attacks or two dart attacks.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage, or 21 (1d6 + 3d8 + 4) piercing damage if made as a dive attack, plus 3 (1d6) fire damage.

Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage.

Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The aeralfos exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

REACTIONS

Deflect. The aeralfos adds 3 to its AC against one ranged attack that would hit it. To do so, the aeralfos must see the attacker and be wielding a shield.

Source

A fiery aeralfos is a powerful mutation from the more common aeralfos.

Whether by natural means or a magical enhancement, the core of a fiery aeralfos burns with draconic fire, and its scales glow a reddish color as a result. Its torso is visibly aflame with magic fire at all times, radiating searing heat and dim light. The aeralfos is no longer harmed by heat, but it cannot extinguish its own flames even if it wants to.

gollark: Er, seems that I only have five magis, how many experiments are left?
gollark: Done.
gollark: For some stupid reason *right* as I was clicking "accept" my browser decided it hated me.
gollark: I have two slots.
gollark: Yes, they are the cutest dragons.
