Zone Archive
Prolific Flash-based artist best known for his (or her?) hentai parodies of popular cartoons and anime. Notable for having a strong relationship with 4chan and long Internet presence.
Recently starting on April of 2012, Zone has released a News Parody series titled ZTV News starting Zone-tan where she informs viewers of the Zone-Archive's website of its upcoming attractions and answers some viewer mail.
Zone's YouTube channel can be accessed here.
Zone Archive provides examples of the following tropes:
- Anthropomorphic Personification: Zone-tan, who's both the mascot and personification of the Zone-Archive.
- The Cameo: Zone-tan has popped up in a number of other works over the years, such as in Skullgirls.
- Colbert Bump: An interesting case, as Zone's parodies have also helped spark interest in their respective source material.
- Double Entendre: The Out Of Context videos, which are carefully edited clips from various hentai parodies.
- Long Runners: Zone's been around for a long, long time in the context of the Internet, surpassing others in the process.
- Manipulative Editing: The Hamburgers of Kazuhira Miller, Zone's parody video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Notable for how virtually seamless said editing is.
- Naughty Tentacles: Present in almost every single flash.
- News Parody: ZTV News.
- Not Safe for Work
- Refuge in Audacity: Some of the stuff from the Zone-Archive can be best described as this.
- Rule 34: Your favorite cartoons and anime series are not safe from this artist's hands.
- Sincerest Form of Flattery: Many of the flash animations are done in the same style as the shows they're parodying, right down to imitating the voices.
- Super-Powered Evil Side: When Zone-tan's particularly pissed off she turns into a demon.
