Hilarious in Hindsight: It's funny that Ishinomori's and Himekawa's Link to the Past both depict Link's Dark World persona as a wolf, considering what happens in Twilight Princess.

Spiritual Licensee: Despite being a Zelda manga, the artwork is very reminiscent of Dragon Quest.

Beam Me Up, Scotty: There has been common misconception that Impa has turned Zelda into a boy in both mind and body. To make things clear, there was no mention of Zelda's body being transformed; only Zelda's mind was sealed into believing she was a boy, but let's not think too hard about that one.
Hilarious in Hindsight: A bonus story involves a race of bird people, quite similar to the Rito in Wind Waker. Better yet, it's in the "Adult" time.
- The other bonus story depicts the Skull Kids and one who just wants friends. And a nice mask. Hmm... Foreshadowing?
Take That, Scrappy!: Link occasionally gets fed up with Navi and talks back.
Unfortunate Implications: The manga attempts to explain that she requested Impa to "seal her consciousness" to believe she is a boy (so she can become Sheik), which unfortunately suggests that Zelda cannot do anything outside her Damsel in Distress role, and instead has to rely on "someone else" to do the job for her. In other words, she skipped those seven years instead of taking The Slow Path like she did in the game.

Hilarious in Hindsight: Tetra's statue and Princess Zelda's butt-kicking spirit. Nintendo must like these adaptations.
Woolseyism: Linebeck behaves and talks like Jack Sparrow. Even one of his lines is a mix of two of Jack's.
