Sonic the Hedgehog/Funny
Note: The following games have their own pages:
Also, the series has a page for being unintentionally hilarious.
- In Sonic Chronicles, Big the Cat sends you on a mission to fing Froggy's friend Norton. It's optional, but would you want to miss this line?
Big: (after finding a frog that's not Norton) Silly Mr. Billywick. Always out on the town!
- Not sure if this counts as this or Narm, but the bit in |Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 where Silver makes an extremely slow and telegraphed punch at Shadow, who counters by stopping time, casually walking past him and roundhouse-kicking him in the back of the head had this troper absolutely in stitches. It was only amplified by all the LPers bursting into hysterical laughter when it happened.
- Even better, Shadow's LV. 2 attack in the first Sonic Riders involves him roundhouse kicking anyone he comes close to... yes, even Cream. Try it sometime.
- The opening scene of Sonic and The Black Knight: Sonic gets warped into Camelot, holding a pair of chili dogs, which he makes a diving save to keep from falling. After eating one, he then demonstrates his speed by tossing the other one up in the air, routing all of the Mooks in sight, and then catching it.
- The latter part is really more of a Crowning Moment of Awesome. The real Crowning Moment of Funny is when Sonic prepares to rush at Arthur... and Merlina grabs him mid-run, pulls him back, making him drop the last chili dog, and as she warps them out of the area, Sonic lets out a Big No at the loss of his lunch.
- Made still funnier by the fact that Sonic's staring down the Black Knight, holding his chili dog as if it was a sword, immediately before Merlina does that.

- The original Sonic Adventure, when Eggman transforms his airship to make it more difficult to get to the bridge:
Tails: "Wow! It just transformed! Did you see that?"
Sonic: *Gives Tails the biggest Captain Obvious look ever* "Now how do we get to the bridge?"
Tails: "I hate it when he doesn't listen..."
- Sonic Adventure 2, in the Dark Story before the Egg Golem boss. We get almost the same cutscene as when you fight it as Sonic, but in this version Sonic jumps up and delivers a kick to the golem which breaks the restraining mechanism on it and causes it to turn on Eggman. Though it's more of the dialogue that makes this a Crowning Moment of Funny:
Sonic: TERIAAAAA!!!
Eggman: *When the Golem turns towards him* NOOOOOOOOOOO!
- Made funnier by the fact that if you listen to it with the Japanese audio, it becomes "TEEEEEERIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
- Three words: Amy. Hugging. Shadow. The look on his face is priceless.
- OH NO! DON'T TOUCH THAT LEVER!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
- The dialogue immediately before that:
Knuckles: What do you mean, don't sweat it?! Land the shuttle and let me out!
Sonic: Knock it off Knuckles! We're gonna crash this thing if you keep that up!
- Sonic's face when he sees Shahra for the very first time in Sonic and the Secret Rings How many Chili Dogs can that there mouth hold?
- The opponent related throws in Sonic the Fighters.
- For Amy's, the character takes her hammer and smacks her over the head with it.
- The character yanks back Espio's tongue and releases it, causing it to smack him in his face like a rubber band.
- Depicted in fanart here.
- The character steals Fang's popgun from his holster, causing him to panic before shooting him in the face with it.
- The character takes a bomb from Bean, shoves it in his mouth, and ducks in cover for a few seconds while Bean makes hilarious faces and the bomb explodes.
