Kaiser (later Führer) of Gartland who seeks to dominate the other 6 city-states of Terra II. He's the fourteenth descendant of the original Faust, one of the six original survivors of the colony ship Mesopotamia.

The Butt Monkey of the series, he's the son of a wealthy man, but decides to move next door to Otaru. He's obseesed with him. He also helped Otaru and the Marionettes several times with his vast knowledge about Terra II, it's story and it's cultures.

The fourteenth Shogun of Japoness, named after the real Tokugawa Ieyasu. A direct clone of one of the original survivors of the colony ship Mesopotamia.
- Killed Off for Real: Subverted at first, he has his memories and thinking patterns implanted in Tamasaburou. Sadly played straight at the end of the series.

- Really Seven Hundred Years Old: It's eventually revealed that he was the ONLY survivor of an earlier expedition to Terra II, keeping himself alive through stasis and machines. And that the events of "J" and "J Again" were orchestrated so that he could finally return home to Earth. He failed.
