• Crazy Awesome: During his feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Savage actually let himself get bit by a (devenomized) snake.
  • Which then turned into a bit of Nightmare Fuel as the snake would not let go of Savage's arm despite Jake trying to get the snake off of him.
• Crowning Moment of Awesome: His show-stealing match with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at WrestleMania 3 for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. As in one-of-the-greatest-matches-of-all-time show-stealing.
  • Beating Ric Flair at Wrestlemania VIII to win the WWF Championship for a 2nd time is up there, too.
  • His incredibly savvy method of winning his stipulation match against Crush at Wrestlemania X: he strung him up to a coat rack after pinning him in a modified Falls Count Anywhere match so he couldn't make it back to the ring before the count of 60. Crush's struggling when he came to resulted in this becoming a Crowning Moment of Funny, to boot.
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: His marriage to Miss Elizabeth (Kayfabe, since they'd already been married for years) at SummerSlam.
  • Their reunion at Wrestlemania VII.
  • Overlapping heavily with Tear Jerker, Hulk Hogan's tweets following Savage's death about how they'd just started talking again and how Hogan regretted a decade of animosity between the two.
• Funny Aneurysm Moment: The ending of this video, which was released months ago as a spoof.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Savage's death happens on the same day the original Slim Jim factory closed down.

  • Became something of an Ascended Meme when Randy Savage was actually spotted sitting in the crowd behind home base at a Mets game.

  • When there was the May 21, 2011 doomsday hoax, Randy Savage's death was allegedly responsible for "averting" the apocalypse. Hence, "Macho Man: he died for your sins!"
