• Actor Allusion:
  • The "Kryptonite" episode has a scene of Jess meeting with her ex-bf on a park bench, imitating a scene in Deschanel's film 500 Days of Summer. Jess also has great difficulty uttering the word "penis", whereas in that same film Summer and Tom have a competition to see who can scream "penis" louder.
  • It seems strange that Paul has no interest in porn, considering Justin Long's previous role as a character who is a gay porn actor.
  • Jess would know a lot about Bridge to Terabithia making kids cry.
  • Nick warns his future-self to be nicer to Coach or "he'll move out and live with another bunch of white people".
