My Little Pony and Friends/YMMV
My Little Pony
- Complete Monster: King Lavan regularly physically abuses his subjects for little reason other than spite and his own amusement and seeks to absorb the power of the Princess Ponies' wands to become an all powerful crystal being, completely uncaring doing so would trigger a magical cataclysm resulting in The End of the World as We Know It so long as his selfish ambitions are fulfilled. When the Princess Ponies refuse to help him, Lavan attempts to have them executed in a lava pool out of spite, and repeatedly tries to kill their group, including Spike. Greedy and power-hungry beyond measure, Lavan showed he would stop at nothing and destroy anything to claim the power he craves.
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Wind Whistler.
- Genius Bonus: In "The Great Rainbow Caper", Danny and Surprise get kidnapped by the Gizmonks, and proceed to destroy their lab from the inside. When they escape from it, they do so by getting inside a giant wooden horse. Sounds familiar?
- Hilarious in Hindsight: See here.
- Moe: Molly, Sweet Stuff.
- Nightmare Fuel and Paranoia Fuel: Yes, again. Some people have reported to be frightened senseless by The Reveal that the flowers were escaped convicts. If that is what it feels like for a flower garden to be overtaken by invasive weeds...
- The Scrappy: With exceptions, most fans loathe Molly and Danny.
- Villain Decay: Hydia and her daughters prove much less threat to the Ponies this time around.
- Wangst: If you didn't feel that Shady's insecurities were warranted, then you saw her this way.
- The Woobie: Shady, if you didn't view her as The Scrappy.
Glo Friends
- What an Idiot!: For all the trouble the Moligans go to ensnare the Glo Friends, it never once dawns on them just to use more mundane lamps, which can fueled with candles and oil.
- Glo Bug attacking the Red Ant Army by himself and promptly getting himself and his team captured and enslaved.
The Potato Head Kids
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Mr. Potato Head yet again.
