Moon Over June/YMMV

  • Bile Fascination: Arguably the point.
  • Dude, Not Funny: Apparently, all those mean-spirited pot-shots at anything with a dick are actually supposed to be jokes.

Summer: "I was holding my phone in one hand, and the ultrasound wand in the other. If it was a girl, I was going to call and brag and if it was a boy I was going to call the adoption agency."

  • Fetish Retardant: Egad. It seems at points the character design is striving to be unsexy.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Besides being annoying, sometimes Summer's misandry comes across as just being creepy.
    • The animated entry, depicting Hatsuki being double-penetrated by that machine. It's impossible to choose the most disturbing part of that particular panel, but the jerky, uncanny way the animation is rendered is a good candidate. Eeeesh.
    • The characters are colored and designed in what is possibly the least appealing way imaginable. If any person, male or female, straight or gay, were to see one of these people in real life... they would find themselves filled with a nameless sense of profound horror. Unable to find the source of their terror, but knowing without the slightest doubt that skin shouldn't be that flat tone, that nipples and mucous membranes shouldn't be that unsettling lavender, that vaginas... shouldn't look like that, they would flee in utmost fear from these unnatural abominations.
  • Straw Man Has a Point: The men are often easier to sympathize with than either Summer or Hatsuki, to the point where it undermines whatever message Woc Girl was trying to get across... unless, of course, that is the message.
  • Unfortunate Implications: A common argument against gay parenthood and adoption is the idea that gays will be having sex in front of their children all the time... and the comic plays right into that.
    • In the same vein, some paranoid homophobes fear that gays, huge perverts that they are, constantly lust after straight people and will take any opportunity to ogle them. While Summer is outwardly quite professional[1], she loves her gynecology specialty because it gives her access to countless vaginas.
  1. one of her few rules is no making passes at patients she is not already sleeping with
