Piro
- Smashing a fanboy's camera against a table is still a moment that's debated on within the forums. Badass heroism or macho protectionist nonsense, what is certain is that it is totally awesome. "Memory stick or camera. Your choice."
- An hour or so later: Kimiko, taking out her anger and frustration on Piro, exclaims (after a tirade of similar insults) that he defended her because he thought it'd help him score later on that night. Piro, who's been his usual everything-is-my-fault self thus far, looks at her and simply says, "I didn't deserve that." The subway door then swishes shut between them.
- This troper's favorite for Piro is this.
- Or when he showed that he does have awesome skills.
- How about when he caught Largo's baseball bat, as Largo hits him with it.
Largo
- "I can empty the store in three minutes and twenty seconds. If you want me to". Bonus points for actually doing it using a muffin cart, and also for running Dom over on entry.
- Even more bonus points to the guy for doing so to help Erika even after an earlier encounter which was a moment in and of itself. "Your game, your rules. But it doesn't mean I have to play."
- Even more bonus points to him just for Miho's expression in panel three.
- Speaking of Largo running over Dom, there's this, which may also be a moment for Erika for her reaction.
- Calling Erika to apologize for missing dinner.
- Largo again, even if it's just the facsimile produced by Piro's mind. Piro claims that they have crazier friends "back home", but it almost certainly has to be a bluff. ...And for the record, he does achieve lower-attire combustion, 693 strips later, all while displaying samurai-level calmness and self-control.
- His friends back home are crazy, though not as crazy as Largo.
- Largo throughout Chapter Seven to Eight is just one long crowning moment of awesome, everything he does or says is awesome in some way or another awesome. This includes running Dom down twice, fixing Erika single-handed, making the cardboard horror store, getting blown up by a computer, fixing Ping and then blowing it with Erika, but that doesn't count.
- Doesn't count? He spun even that into an incredibly awesome and funny scene. Such is the power of Largo.
- His friends back home are crazy, though not as crazy as Largo.
- This Troper asserts that this picture is the most badass, Crazy Awesome picture ever drawn.
- So does this troper.
- By the way, the writing on the road says "Stop". This adds a certain something to an already awesome scene.
- So does this troper.
- His Stealing L-phone from Yuki then jumping at least five meters from standpoint followed by plugging L-phone to DJ booth and pressing the PWN Button. Fred titled that strip G4m3.0vr, D0 IT. for a reason.
- The resultant effect is currently unclear, but involves rick rolling, an explosion, and a major power outage.
Others
- Sonoda Yuki gets hers by vanishing a zombified Rent-a-Zilla from under the noses (and chains) of the entire Tokyo Police Cataclysm Division. More bonus points for completely freaking out the entire force beforehand, where a massive zombie invasion hadn't been enough to faze them.
- Oh, and heading that TPCD force? Yuki's father, Masamichi. Then he asks why the Magical Girl Detector's alarm was turned off.
- Her mother, Meimi, has a similar one, stealing Junpei's wallet. Now that takes some serious magical skills.
- Miho gets a number of these. This troper's favorite involves how she finally makes Yuki realise she's a magical girl. Others include wrecking Dom's car and kidnapping Kimiko to safety. Yes, you read that correctly.
- Ping gets one when she knocks out a multi-story drunken turtle by tossing it directly at Ed... who is on the top of a skyscraper quite far away.
- Ping also gets one for talking some sense into Piro. Most definitely an awesome speech.
- Ping gets another when she saves Junko from an oncoming truck. With a lamppost.
- Miho gets one...for turning her head so far, her chin goes past her shoulder!
- So...Foreshadowing her true nature as some form of undead? Oh comic, you're still as full of surprises as ever.
- Ed certifying his villain credentials by using even more gun to take out Miho.
- Whether or not he succeeded is still under debate.
- He failed. Ed's reaction is priceless.
- Whether or not he succeeded is still under debate.
- Kimiko gets hers here. Just the idea of being able to elicit that kind of reaction from Largo. Plus, how many of you could do that so calmly?
- For everyone's favorite hamster: Bring it, Kitty.
- If that didn't turn you Furry, nothing will.
- "STOP TEASING ME." A more in depth summary would be:
- Yuki:"You don't even try to find out what people really feel! Am I gonna have to show you??"
- Miho: 'rolls critical failure on manipulative bastard check'
- Yuki: 'shows Miho' via teleporting her out of the hospital room and directly into the cave of evil, surrounded by half the cast.
- Erika offhand backhands Ed with her elbow, immediately followed by Mr. Ibara using a pair of Wii-motes to flatten Ed with an L-Blockand Boo dropping several mini-bombs on him.
- I can't believe no one posted this moment.
- A little less than Largo-tastic, but Kobayashi got one in this strip. After three straight strips of Yuki's father yelling at him, threatening violence, transfer out of his school and even implied death. The boy just won't hang up until he's spoken to her. There's not many men could do that even in real life.
