• Ensemble Darkhorse: On Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Adam was just one of a trio of replacement Rangers. He outlasted the rest of the replacements by a good half-season and has appeared in as many series as Tommy.
• Face of the Band: Unless you're a true fan of the band, you only know Johnny.
• Hate Dumb: While's he's quite popular among anime fans. He has a fairly large one, as mentioned above.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: When JYB is revealed to be the voice actor of Zero in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, there's many people in the internet comparing him with Ichigo, Nero and, most notably, another Zero. One video sums it up.
• The Japanese Love Johnny Yong Bosch: According to the trope entry, the Japanese seems to prefer Bosch's preformance of Lelouch over Fukuyama's.
• Memetic Badass: To be fair, he's already a Real Life Badass, but the guys involved with Tales of the Abyss: The Abridged Series seem to have their hearts set on establishing him as a Memetic one. Although, shit got weird when they first tried to do this. Apparently JYB would be the world's greatest penguin.
• The Woobie: Truth in Television, too. he's a reasonably good voice actor and an all-around nice guy.
  • To elaborate, there was the infamous Haruhi Suzumiya panel/SOS Brigade Concert in Anime Expo '07. Everything was completely unprepared and unprofessional (not anyone's fault, but rather the ones who organized the panel--or, heck, the entire convention), and there was one moment when Johnny threw a script as part of an act. Even so, the Hate Dumb still blamed Bosch for his part, among other reasons. The bad experience was too overwheming for Johnny, and he had stated on his Myspace that he would not go to 2008's Anime Expo.
  • There's also an (alleged) infamous Power Rangers example. He dated Tracy Lynn Cruz (Ashley of Power Rangers Turbo and Power Rangers in Space) for a time, but she simply used him to get onto the show and dumped him shortly afterwards.
    • To clarify, only Jason David Frank and Catherine Sutherland wanted to leave, which should simply mean promoting Adam to red and getting a new green, pink, and (keeping with Fox's desire for a tagalong) blue, but all of the previous Rangers were fired and replaced with new characters: Steve Cardenas was replaced with a Tagalong Kid, the most infamous Scrappy. The new red and green rangers would of course be hated, though the new green doesn't get that much hate.
