In the course of time, he was gaining a lot of catchphrases, that now needs its own page.

• "Well, at least this (something) isn't a (something worse)! *The (something) becomes (something worse)* DAMMIT!"
• "Well, I guess it's better than a sharp stick in the eye/Guardian Acorn!"
• "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!"
• "And here we find some HIDDEN TREASURE/a HIDDEN PASSAGE/a SECRET PASSAGE/a SECRET CHILD/TRIPLE TRIAD!/ SECRET SEASHELL!/ PIECE OF POWER!"
  • Usually followed by "All right!", and rarely followed by "Nice!".
  • He even writes 'secret treasure' with that emphasis and lampshaded one of the only instances where he said it normally.
• "Nah, just kidding, viewers. Just kidding."
• (After doing preparations for certain events, like boss battles) "OK. We're all set and ready to go!"
• "AND THEY DIED. Well, I guess that's all for this let's play series. Hope you enjoyed it."
• "That sounds vulgar."
• "XXX is a caring soul."
  • "Ark is a ___ soul."
• "I'm not a big fan of ____, I'll be honest with you, viewers."

  • "Crap" (similarly when something goes wrong).

  • The dark equivalent, "Uh oh. Danger music!"
  • And the awesome equivalent, "Yeah! Kickass music!", or simply "Yeah! Kickass!"
• "Wow! Look at that damage! (Holy Cow!)
  • "Ow?!" and "OW!", when he's the target of a very strong attack.
    • "Owquitit." when he's the target of a not so strong attack.
• "What could possibly go wrong?"
• "Now, I don't know how you're supposed to figure this out."
• "So that's pretty nice."
• "OF COURSE!!! WHY NOT?!?!"
• "More PARTY MEMBERS! MOAR PARTY MEMBERS!"
  • "FINAL PARTY MEMBER"

• "Stay away from the summoner!" About once per LP only, though.
• "Really, game? REALLY?!"

  • "(hard enemy). They're like (something in real life that's not threatening) except you DIE."

  • Often proceeded by "How bad could it possibly be?"
• "(subject regarding certain hard monster), he/she/they/those guys will KILL YOU!"
  • Or "he/she/they/those guys will put you to SLEEEEP!
• "If only we had an item that could do that!" when said item becomes available very soon. Sometimes followed with, "But we don't."
  • Subverted in his Oracle of Ages Let's Play.

"*pushing blocks around* If only we had an item that could make these blocks move faster! (Beat) Not in this game."

• [Insert potentially offensive thing]. Just teasing viewers, just kidding.
• "Hey, how's it going?" to various enemies/NPCs.
• "What a CONCEPT!"
• SUPER TENTACLE HENTAI PORN!!

• (when something goes unexplained) "You're not gonna tell us, are you?"
• "I apologize to anyone whose name is (blank)".
• "This part/puzzle is a little tricky, but nothing that we can't handle".

• How wude! (or possibly from Full House)
  • Quoting the Emperor in general, to be honest.
• Oh that's so hot...
• I made that look a lot easier than it actually is.
• I'm sure that's not true.
• Invisible PLOT WALLS!
• If you (like/want) (thing in this game), then come and let's play (game)! [Upon starting a new LP]
• "This could be really bad."
• Don't answer that, viewers.
• "This was pretty high-tech stuff back then."
• "It's dangerous to go alone."

• As You Know, [element X] in RPGs is/are ALWAYS [lampshaded trope of eastern RPGs]!
• Like all good bosses, he (explodes/melts/shatters/...)
• Suspend your disbelief, viewers!
• (to an enemy he wants to avoid) Stay away from me, man.
• LAUNCH them into the air!
• Does [X] [Y]? [[[Beat]]] No. That's another game.
• He's gone MAAAAAAAAAD!
• "I like [X] as much as the next guy, but... (he says something that doesn't like about [X] or something in that lines)".
• MOVE FASTER!
• (upon a game mechanic he likes) "... So that's pretty nice./I like that!"
• "You get to live... For now."
• "THE SEAL HAS BEEN BROKEN!"
• "Don't do <some questionable in-game action>, or it won't end well for you."
• (comes across some enemy or obstacle) "Well, at least they're not as bad as they were in SOME OTHER GAME!!!"
• Leave this place. You are in great danger.
• Nice touch. (upon seeing a minor, but neat effect in the remake of his favorite game.)
• "There's your word of the day, viewers. [X]"
• STOP TALKING!
• "What do you mean by that?" (from the Final Fantasy Tactics LP)
• "YOU'RE FUCKING KIDDING ME!" (only F bombs on occasion, but this is the most common form)
• (character), work your magic.
• "Yeah, I know. It's a real shock to you, viewers." (when he mentions a fact about his life that could be shocking to their viewers, or something that obviously wouldn't be a shock)
• The easy way.
• That was a good Magic card back in the day.
• (sarcastically) SPOILER ALERT! (something that is not much of a spoiler at all, like that the game has a Bonus Dungeon).
