ClementJ64
A Let's Play-er on YouTube who refers to himself as The Great Clement, he's a bit different from the rest; where most LPers chronicle their various screw-ups and play their ineptitude and frustration up for humor, Clement focuses on providing informative commentary on the game itself, including such things as the story, the level design, the characters, the game play, and so on and so forth. He has a penchant for going off on weird tangents, though, and he's not above making horrible jokes when the opportunity to do so arises. He also worships Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. So far, most of his LPs have focused on the Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog series, with occasional dabblings in Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Bros., and other assorted video game series.
His page can be found here.

- |Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) (not on his own channel; he was a guest commentator for Brain Scratch Commentaries' playthrough.)
- Sonic Generations (Once again, he hasn't covered the game himself, but he was a guest star when the Brain Scratch crew covered the game. Has said he will do it individually but not for a long time)
- Shadow the Hedgehog
- Berserk Button: He's not too fond of the missions in Shadow the Hedgehog where you have to kill every enemy in the level and must backtrack if you miss even one.
- And whatever you do, do not and I repeat do NOT defend Sonic 06 in front of him.
- Canada, Eh?: Mostly averted (Clement does have a mild accent), unless Clement is actively defending or poking fun of his nationality.
- Catch Phrase: He's got several, including...
- "Aloha! I am the Great Clement." - upon starting an LP.
- "But I digress..." - after wrapping up one of his many oddball ramblings.
- "Until then, toodles." - after completing an LP.
- "I hate this game/I hate that game." - referring to Mega Man X 6.
- "Fuck that game." - referring to |Sonic 2006.
- "And that's no good!", usually during his Sonic LPs.
- Challenge Gamer: He's a veteran at the Mega Man series, so he tends to make it look easy. It's not, as he doesn't hesitate to point out.
- Contractual Genre Blindness: To avoid spoiling the plot of the various games in the Mega Man series, he refuses to acknowledge that Dr. Wily or Sigma could possibly be behind the plot until they've revealed themselves. He turns this trope on its head for his Mega Man 10 LP, turning "I don't trust Dr. Wily" into a minor Running Gag.
- Deadpan Snarker: He loves to point out when the characters are being idiots. In particular, he never stops making fun of how helpless the Resistance would be without the titular character of the Mega Man Zero series, nor does he allow Knuckles to live down his moments of extreme gullibility.
- Development Hell: The final part of his Punch-Out Wii LP was eight months late, partly due to him wanting to do a sketch that he couldn't do.
- His last two videos for Scott Pilgrim Vs.The World finally came out a mere five months after the last part.
- Drinking Game: In-universe; Done exclusively in his Super Meat Boy LP, where he would take a shot every time he died. He only made it to Chapter 3 before he was totally wasted and couldn't continue. He finished the rest of the LP (without the imposed challenge) once he recovered.
- Evil Laugh: Goes into one after beating all of Johnny's records. Can overlap with Laughing Mad.
- Epic Fail: In Part 9 of Sonic Adventure 2, Clement, who was trying to A rank every level, dies near the end of Eternal Engine, thus resetting his score to 0 and not getting the A rank.
- Fanboy: This to Doctor Eggman
- Let's Play: His channel mostly focuses on these, with the occasional Vlog review or skit.
- Rooting for the Empire: Clement roots for the Eggman Empire specifically.
- Rule 34: During the Sonic and Knuckles playthrough, he learned of the echidna's Exotic Equipment:
Clement: So yeah, Knuckles has four penises. I want fanart of that, dammit!
- Running Gag: Again, he's got several...
- He repeatedly screws up the name of the "Sniper Joe" mooks from the Mega Man series. So far, he's called them Cotton-Eyed Joes, Pink-Eyed Joes, and Bazooka Joes, among many other things. (He lampshades this at a couple of points, too -- he actually knows what their name is, but gets it wrong anyways just to be funny.)
- He frequently uses Sarcasm Mode, such as when he comes across Yoku Blocks in a Mega Man game -- "And it's those disappearing-reappearing blocks that I love oh so very much."
- The clip of Knuckles the Echidna shouting "SHUT UP" is used frequently during the LP of Sonic 3 & Knuckles (or whenever he calles Knuckles stupid or dumb in future LP's). This has also popped up in Brain Scratch Commentaries playthrough of Sonic 06 in which Clement is a guest commentator.
- Also, at the end of his Sonic LPs, a Dr. Eggman plush exclaiming "Son of a bitch!" and occasionally going into a quick rant. Subverted at the end of the Sonic Heroes playthrough, where Clement explains that he's still running from Team Chaotix (since he didn't pay them).
- In his Modern Sonic LPs, the Eggman plush announces the name of any boss, stage, or vehicle beginning with "Egg".
- In Shadow the Hedgehog, yelling "CHAOS CONTROL!" at the top of his lungs whenever he uses said ability.
- Sanity Slippage: After failing to best Johnny at City Escape, Act 1 in Sonic Generations. Probably playing it up for the camera, but it's still very creepy.
- Schedule Slip: Part 4 of his Tail's Adventure LP was uploaded two months after part 3 due to his busy work schedule, personal life, his infamous drinking game and going on vacation.
- Mostly averted as he now updates at a constant rate (although he does take short breaks inbetween let's plays).
- Trademark Favorite Video Game: Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- What Could Have Been:
- The X-Files LP was going to be in 2009, and his original Quackshot LP from 2008 was scrapped until 2011.
- He had planned to LP the Mega Man Legends series, but due to recording issues, he had to cancel them.
- He also announced he was doing Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X for the PSP, but couldn't record them in color without the proper cable.
- Chances are that when he gets both the Legends games, and the PSP cables, he'll do these LPs.
- Team Dark was originally going to be a full playthrough due to popular demand, but scrapped it because there was nothing to say.
- YMMV on if this was for the better.
