- What Could Have Been
- Cam was supposed to be killed off way back in season two and if season three hadn't been cut short, Zack would have been a victim of the Gormogon.
- Supposedly, the Gormogon would have been Sweets. In fact, the whole Gormogon arc was a string of What could have beens derailed by the Writer's Strike.
- This receives a Mythology Gag in the Season 4 finale and alternate universe episode "The End in the Beginning":
Sweets: Um, I mean the name of the band is Gormogon. Some people think I'm Gormogon, but I'm not.
- Season three was supposed to have an episode dealing with Booth's childhood. It was never made due to, again, the writer's strike.
- In season five, there was supposed to be a Noir Episode. This was called off due to Fringe beating them to it.
