- Princess Luna, a character who got one minute of screen time and one line of dialogue in the second episode, not only returning after a year-long absence, but also getting her own focus episode. This was especially important since her absence had created her own fanbase.

- Nearly 5 years after its cancellation Futurama was revived in the form of 4 DVD movies. When an entire new series was announced not long after (to air on Comedy Central, no less, and not on the dreaded Fox), the reaction was vastly enthusiastic. Until Fox announced that they were looking for replacements for the original voice cast. They soon changed their mind. Rumor has it the announcement was just a move in the salary negotiation.

- They're finally releasing Tiny Toon Adventures How I Spent My Vacation on DVD!
- When CBeebies changed their extremely popular preschool-targeted series Waybuloo by shortening the length, adding a narrator, and eliminating the yogo segments (yogo being a gentle form of yoga), the reaction was predictable and immediate. Parents took to the BBC's message boards in droves complaining that neither they nor their children liked the new format. The BBC restored the program the very next, resulting in happy shouts of "Buloo!" from children. (On the program, when the characters reach a state of great contentedness, they shout "Buloo!" and float in the air.)
