South West (London Assembly constituency)

South West is a constituency represented in the London Assembly. It has been represented, since its creation in 2000, by Tony Arbour, a Conservative from Richmond upon Thames.

It covers the combined area of the London Borough of Hounslow, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Originally a marginal seat between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats upon creation, the seat has only elected Conservative AMs since creation and has been a safe seat for the party since the 2008 election.
