Nagaur railway station is a major railway station of jodhpur mandal (rajasthan). Its code is NGO. District headquarters station Nagaur, consists of three platforms. Platforms no.2 and 3 are not well sheltered. It lacks some facilities including sanitation, water (platform no.2,3) and automatic escalator. At present 47 plus trains halts at this station. It is A grade station based on revenue and public footfalls. There is high demand that some luxury trains like humsafar should have stops at this station. Geographically, Nagaur railway station is a central station of Rajasthan and caters massive public. So some more amenities like ac waiting rooms, restaurant,extra rooftop shelter,solar based energy system,digital information board are needed.
