MTV Hits (European TV channel)

MTV Hits is a 24-hour non-stop of music pop from ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA that launched on 27 May 2014, replacing MTV Hits UK & Ireland. The channel is widely available throughout Europe and Latin America, except Brazil, United Kingdom and Ireland.[1]

History

On 17 November 2015, a French version of the channel was launched and the European version stops broadcasting in France, Switzerland and Belgium. This version replaced the French versions of MTV Base, MTV Pulse and MTV Idol.

On 1 October 2017, MTV Hits, MTV Dance and MTV Rocks ceased broadcasting in Benelux.[2]

On October 17, 2017, The channel is no longer broadcast in Monaco.

On 2 May 2020, it was removed of Sky Italia.

On 5 August 2020, the channel replaced MTV Hits in Latin America.
