List of Parkruns in the United States of America
This is a list of parkruns in the United States of America, based on the current parkrun USA events page.[1][2]
Parkrun is the name given to the collection of 5K runs that take place every Saturday morning in 37 different locations throughout the country.[3][4] While the majority of parkruns commence at 09:00AM each Saturday, some parkrun locations start earlier (or later) due to environmental factors or use agreements with their hosting park; it is important to check the parkrun's webpage (see list below) to confirm the start time. The highest attendance for a parkrun in the USA is 318 at Jamaica Pond parkrun.[5] Since the first parkrun event in the USA which started on 2 June 2012, 42,643 runners have taken part who have a total combined distance of 798,960 km.[6]
