List of Indonesians by net worth

This is a list of Indonesians ordered by their net worth. According to Forbes (2007),[1] there were only two Indonesians who were listed among world's billionaires. Robert Budi Hartono (and family) was ranked in the 664th with total net worth of US$1.5 billion. Both billionaires made profit from kretek (clove cigarettes) companies through Gudang Garam and Djarum brand names, respectively.

A year before (2006), the Forbes Asia section had started a kick-off of listing only Indonesia's richest people and came up with Indonesia's 40 Richest People. Three Indonesian kretek tycoons were among the top five: Rachman Halim, Robert Budi Hartono and Putra Sampoerna. Sukanto Tanoto, Putera Sampoerna, and Eka Tjipta Widjaja in the 2006 Forbes Asia list were ranked above the two Indonesians from the 2007 Forbes' world's billionaires list.
