The song is a love duet, with the singers describing their desire to dance to one more song with each other.

It was performed eighth on the night (following the United Kingdom's Emma with Give a Little Love Back to the World and preceding Norway's Ketil Stokkan with Brandenburger Tor). At the close of voting, it had received 124 points, placing 4th in a field of 22, at the time Iceland's best placement in the contest.

It was succeeded as Icelandic representative at the 1991 Contest by Stefán & Eyfi with Draumur um Nínu.
