Arun Pathak (Uttar Pradesh politician)

Arun Pathak (born 14 April 1973) is an Indian politician, social activist and teacher. He was born and raised in Kanpur. Pathak had a keen interest in politics from the starting. He is the member of BJP. He studied and worked also as Chemistry teacher at BNSD Inter College in Kanpur. In 2015 he was elected as Member of Legislative Council in a bye election from Kanpur Division Graduates Constituency as BJP candidate.

He defeated the Swarup family of kanpur which were serving for 99 years.
