The 1952 United States presidential election in North Dakota took place on November 4, 1952, as part of the 1952 United States presidential election. Voters chose four representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.[3]

North Dakota was won by Columbia University President Dwight D. Eisenhower (RNew York), running with California Senator Richard Nixon, with 70.97%t of the popular vote, against Adlai Stevenson (DIllinois), running with Alabama Senator John Sparkman, with 28.39% of the popular vote. As of the 2016 presidential election, this is the last election in which Rolette County voted for a Republican Presidential candidate.[4]

This would be the final time until 1988 when national bellwether Sargent County in the state's southeast would support a losing candidate,[5]

With 70.97% of the popular vote, North Dakota was Eisenhower's second strongest state after Vermont.[6]
