Name
The name of the settlement was changed from Znojile to Znojile pri Krki (literally, 'Znojile near Krka') in 1953.[3] The name Znojile is derived from *znoji(d)lo 'sunny or sun-facing area' from the verb *znojiti 'to be warmed by the sun'. The name therefore refers to the geographical orientation of the place.[4]
Cultural heritage
A small roadside chapel-shrine in the settlement dates to the early 20th century.[5]

gollark: DO NOT objective C.
gollark: Not the hilariously expensive Skylake era ones.
gollark: Hmm, putting the encryption key with the disk it decrypts sounds *highly* secure.
