Podsmreka pri Višnji Gori

Podsmreka pri Višnji Gori (pronounced [pɔdˈsmɾeːka pɾi ˈʋiːʃnji ˈɡɔːɾi]) is a settlement east of Višnja Gora in the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]

Name

The name of the settlement was changed from Podsmreka to Podsmreka pri Višnji Gori in 1953.[3]

Podsmreka Castle

Podsmreka Castle is a 16th-century manor house in eastern part of the settlement.[4]
