Younis Al Qattan

Younis Al Qattan (Arabic: يونس القطّان), is a professional coach in Norway and former Iraqi football player, he also holds Norwegian citizenship.[1][2][3]

Managerial career

For the same team that he retired the playing from its; Al-Tamween wal-Naqil Club, Al Qattan worked as coach in 1992.[1] After one year, he traveled to Lebanon and worked as a professional coach for many Lebanese clubs.[3] In 1996 he traveled to Norway and worked there as a professional coach for several Norwegian clubs.[1]

On 19 May 2007, Al Qattan worked with coach Egil Olsen as an assistant coach for the Iraq national football team in 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification[4], then returned to Lebanon worked as coach of Al-Mabarrah club and reached the final of the Lebanese FA Cup[3], then to Norway work as SK Gjøvik-Lyn coach.

On 24 August 2011, he returned to Iraq to serve as coach of Al-Minaa club[2], and on 9 May 2016 to serve as coach of Al-Kahraba FC.[5]
