Early life

Yaad Grewal was born in Jat Punjabi family, on August 27, 1975 in a city called Bathinda, situated in Punjab. He did his Schooling from St. Joseph Convent School Bathinda and finished his graduation from Pravara Medical College Loni. He was a National level Basketball Player and State level Boxer for Punjab. But he is widely famous for his acting at present. He is one of the fine and talented Punjabi actor who has given a new trend to Punjabi Cinema.. Recently he was nominated for the movie Fateh in PTC Punjabi Film Award 2015 for his outstanding performance.

Career

Yaad Grewal has worked in more than 200 music videos and movies like Mitti, Lion of Punjab, Sadda Haq, Sikander, Himmat Singh, Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!, Phantom and many more. Other than this, many times he was nominated and won the best performance in Negative Role award for the various film such as Mitti(2008), Lion of Punjab(2010), Sadda Haq(2012).[1][2] and Toofan Singh (2016).
