History

The concession for XEWG was awarded to Estela Vega Padilla in 1941. In 1985, Radiodifusora Centauro del Norte bought the station; in turn, it was transferred to the current concessionaire in 2006.

In February 2020, XEWG left the Bengala grupera format, which had been the last station when the other stations returned to Crystal, switching to Radio Guadalupana.

gollark: It is quite long. I don't actually read paragraphs with more than 3 lines in them.
