The son of Harry Marriott and The Hon. Dinah Lilian Douglas-Home, he was born at Westminster in April 1994.[1] His grandfather was William Douglas Home, the brother of Alec Douglas-Home, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Marriott was educated at Radley College, before going up to Oxford Brookes University.[2] While studying at Oxford Brookes, he played first-class cricket for Oxford UCCE and MCCU in 2013 and 2014, making three appearances against Worcestershire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.[3][notes 1] He scored 139 runs in his three matches, at an average of 34.75 and with a high score of 81, his only first-class half century.[4]

gollark: I generally get AP ones, so it's more like 5 days for me.
gollark: If I get back into it, I plan to overdocument all of my process.
gollark: I don't have any NDs, but I have done a lot of experiments and made some (which I traded off).
gollark: I have so many stupidly messy things I could breed a CB prize with.
gollark: Fun Things to Do With a CB Prize:- breed with random high-gen messy- breed with own children- randomly dump 2Gs in the AP or offer them on trades for low-value stuff- ND the 2Gs- give the 2Gs only to those who figure out the answer to a riddle
