In September 2019, the division's name was changed to WildBrain Spark after DHX Media rebranded under the WildBrain name itself.[2]

The division is responsible for distributing pre-existing material and creating original animated and live-action shorts based on properties owned by its parent company and partners. WildBrain Spark also manages the YouTube presence for a number of external brands and businesses, including Beyblade Burst, Cyber Group Studios, BRB International, Larva, Moomins, Playmobil, Smurfs, NBCUniversal and Warner Bros. Global Kids & Young Adults, among others.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
