Wells Township is one of seventeen townships in Appanoose County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 270.[3]

History

Wells Township was founded in 1848.[4]

Geography

Wells Township covers an area of 38.5 square miles (99.7 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains five cemeteries: Croft, Davis, Hilltown, Kerby and Staten.
