Squad

The Wales squad for the 2017 Toulon Tournament was announced in May 2017. Players born after 1 January 1997 and 31 December 1999 were eligible for the tournament. Ethan Ampadu, born in 2000, was therefore deemed ineligible. Ben Woodburn and Harry Wilson were also not available due to their inclusion in the Wales senior squad.[1] Rhys Norrington-Davies, Mitchell Clark, David Brooks, Aron Davies and Matt Smith withdrew from the squad, and were replaced by Cian Harries, Aaron Lewis, Keiran Evans, Chris Mepham and Lloyd Humphries respectively.[2]
