WELF-TV
WELF-TV, virtual channel 23 (UHF digital channel 28), is a TBN owned-and-operated television station serving Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States that is licensed to Dalton, Georgia. The station is owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. WELF-TV's transmitter is located on SR 157 in unincorporated west-central Walker County.

History
The station began operations on May 10, 1994. Outside of limited local programming in its history, WELF has mainly carried TBN's national service without deviation.

TBN-owned full-power stations permanently ceased analog transmissions on April 16, 2009.[1]
WELF-TV shut down its analog signal, over UHF channel 23, on that date. The station's digital signal remained on its pre-transition UHF channel 16.[2] Through the use of PSIP, digital television receivers display the station's virtual channel as its former UHF analog channel 23.
