Vaibhav Saxena

Vaibhav Saxena, is an Indian music director, composer, rapper, music producer,[1][2] Singer and lyricist[3] associated with Indian Music Industry. He started his career as Music Director and Music Programmer for the album 'Bhakti Band' from Times Music.[4] Vaibhav was first to introduce Brainwave sound technology in India with Times Music[5] As Music Composer and Music Director, Vaibhav has collaborated with many singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Pankaj Udhas, Ankit Tiwari, Harrdy Sandhu, B Praak and Ashok Masti.

Apart from composing and producing music Vaibhav has appeared as judge on various singing contests such as Radio Mantra and Radio City Super Singer contest.[6][7] and appears as actor in Music Videos.

Early life

Vaibhav was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, where his Father is an eye surgeon. He studied in HP Children's Academy and Little Flower School before completing his secondary education in Kota, Rajasthan. He was inclined towards music from childhood and aspired to become a music director.

Career

Albums

His first Album was 'Bhakti Band' from Times Music,[8] it was a fusion devotional meditation album which had traditional Bhajanlyrics but in modern composition and arrangement.The album contained 6 songs and three instrumental songs.The songs were sung by Padma Sinha and Vaibhav introduced Brainwave sound technology for the first time in India in this album.[9] In 2010 Vaibhav along with Gunjan Jha composed tunes for a sikh devotional album called Shabad, which had holy text that appear in guru granth sahib. Vaibhav Directed ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas as singer for this album. The Semi Classical Bhajan album was released by Times Music and contained 8 devotional songs.[4][5][10]

Singles and on screen debut

Saxena, gained a following in 2014 when he signed a deal with the record label T-Series. He composed and produced two crossover singles You And Me (Teri Galliyan) collaborating with Ankit Tiwari and Manoj Muntashir[11] and Without You (Soch) collaborating with Harrdy Sandhu , B Praak and Jaani Without you (soch) also marks Vaibhav's debut as Singer in English language.The video of the song Without you (Soch) featured shots from the movie Anjaana Anjaani featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra Jonas with intercut shots of Vaibhav singing the song.

In 2018 Vaibhav signed a record deal with Zee Music Company for the song 'Akhiyaan Vich' which was a collaboration between Vaibhav and Punjabi pop singer Ashok Masti. Vaibhav composed and produced the music as well as made his debut as Rapper. The song featured actor Sneha Namanandi, the song crossed million mark within a week of its release.[1]

In 2020 Vaibhav was featured in another song by Zee Music Company 'Aaja Sohniye'. Vaibhav composed the music and performed the rap for the song and launched singer Kshitij Vedi and TV Actress Reem Shaikh.The song came in news when it crossed the million mark on YouTube.[12][13][14]
