Politics
The municipal council consists of eleven members elected by mixed-member proportional representation. Six councillors are elected by first-past-the-post voting in six wards, while the remaining five are chosen from party lists so that the total number of party representatives is proportional to the number of votes received. In the election of 3 August 2016 the African National Congress (ANC) won a majority of seven seats on the council. The following table shows the results of the election.[5][6]

gollark: Not that that's very much in big data™ terms.
gollark: I *do* have several thousand pages of crawled web content to train it off now.
gollark: `^(\s*)(([*+-])|(\d+)([).]))(\s*)` ← HIGHLY readable regex in my code.
gollark: I agree, I *need* to be able to call things cryoapioformic.
gollark: It converts words to some highly multidimensional vector based on its connections to other words, via magic.
