Uffelte
Uffelte is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Westerveld, and lies about 15 km west of Hoogeveen.

In 2001, the town of Uffelte had 818 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.30 kmĀ², and contained 338 residences.[2] The statistical area "Uffelte", which can also include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1420.[3]
Uffelte was first mentioned as Ulfo in 1040 when Emperor Henry III donates estates from a certain Uffo and his brothers, located in Uffelte, Wittelte and Peelo, to Bishop Bernold of Utrecht.
