Concerns and Problems

Language problems

THIS has lots of concerns from parents who let their children attend. The school assistant principle, Ms.Li Wen Ping speaks mandarin almost all the time. In school announcements, meetings and etc. This has made a lot of concerns that this school is actually not fully internationalized. Of course, the school argues that this school is a combination of both Eastern and Western education. Thus, they claim it is certainly typical for schools like this to have an assistant principal that speaks mandarin full time, as this classification is classified as a standard "Bilingual School"[5]. This, often makes confusion as they claim they are a qualified international school.[6]

Plagiarism Problems

The school also has other areas of concern. Another of these is the school website. It claims that it is a WASC international school but on the school website, it is not properly written and proven [7]. In defense, the school claims that it is still a school that is still in development. Also, on their website http://www.this.edu.cn/about-in-progress/, they have used other people's work as placeholders, which no matter if it is a part of a template, has violated The Copyright Law of The People's Republic of China Article 3, Rule one[8] and several others[9]. The major part of this concern is that the school claims it takes copyrights really seriously and the school also included a rule for plagiarism and plagiarized work.Plagiarism proof
