Traian Ivănescu (5 May 1933 – 29 July 2019) was a Romanian football player and manager.

Career
Born in Bucharest, Ivănescu played youth football with Militari Bucureşti and Flamura Roşie Bucureşti, before making his senior debut in 1951 with Flacăra Bucureşti. He later played for CCA Steaua Bucureşti, Progresul Bucureşti, Siderurgistul Galați and Jiul Petroşani, before retiring in 1966.[1] He was married to Doina Ivănescu a former volleyball player who represented her country at the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1]
He also earned one cap for Romania in 1954.
Ivănescu later became a coach.[1]
He died on 29 July 2019, aged 86.[2]
