Titran Chapel
Titran Chapel (Norwegian: Titran kapell) is a parish church in Frøya municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Titran on the western tip of the island of Frøya. It is one of the churches for the Frøya parish which is part of the Orkdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in an octagonal style in 1873 as a bedehus and it was upgraded to the status of a chapel in 1912. The church seats about 200 people. The chapel was built on the site of an old church that closed and torn down in 1780.[1][2]
