Cast and synopsis

In November 2019, reports were published of a physical altercation between housewives Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels, while filming for the fifth season.[1][2] As a result, charges were filed and subsequently dropped against both Dillard and Samuels.[3]

In March 2020, it was announced the series would return May 3, 2020, with the cast of the fourth season returning, and Wendy Osefo joining as the newest housewife.[4] Following the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, Bravo pulled the premiere and later announced the season to premiere on August 2, 2020.[5][6] The season will also feature a guest appearance from original housewife, Charrisse Jackson Jordan.[7]
