The Palm Tree, Mile End
The Palm Tree is a Grade II listed public house at 127 Grove Road, Mile End, and is within Mile End Park.

The pub in 2006
It was built in 1935 for Truman's Brewery, and designed by Eedle and Meyers.[1]
It was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England.[1]
The pub was the subject of the Court of Appeal case Tower Hamlets LBC v Barrett, regarding the doctrine of encroachment.[2]
