The Mall School

The Mall School is an independent prep day school for boys, in Twickenham, London. The boys enter the pre-prep, which is housed in a self-contained building a few minutes walk from the main site, at the age of 4. They then automatically transfer to the prep school, before leaving for a range of senior schools at the age of 11. In 2017 the school announced it was to phase out Common Entrance meaning all boys would leave the school at age 11 not 13. The first 11+ cohort left in the summer of 2019 and the last 13+ cohort will leave in summer 2020. The majority of boys go on to the leading London day schools, including St. Paul's School, Hampton School and King's College School. The rest at 11+ now go to a wide range of single-sex and coeducational day schools including Kingston Grammar School, as well as state grammar schools including Tiffin.

The Mall School has formed a partnership with Chitsime School in Malawi. It is the focus of many of the boys' fundraising activities and the boys aim to help the school in as many ways that are practicable. The boys are aware of the privileged situation they enjoy and the boys are highly motivated to support the partnership they have with Chitsime School boys.

In recent years, the boys at The Mall have raised thousands of pounds to provide brand new classrooms for Chitsime School for the boys.
