The Face Vietnam (season 3)
The Face Vietnam season 3 (Vietnamese: Gương Mặt Người Mẫu) is a Vietnamese modeling-themed reality television series, based on the US television series of the same name, and one part of the international The Face franchise. After two seasons produced by Cat Tien Sa, this year the show was acquired by Multimedia JSC and therefore was modified entirely from the broadcast channel to the panel of mentors and host.[1] Supermodel Võ Hoàng Yến,[2] singer and actress Minh Hằng[3] and supermodel Thanh Hằng became mentors this season, while former Vietnam's Next Top Model judge Nam Trung served as host.[4] The third season premiered on 30 September 2018 on VTV9.

This season, both male and female contestants are allowed to compete. Team Thanh Hằng's Mạc Trung Kiên, a male contestant from Hải Dương, won the finale on December 30, 2018.

In this casting episode, the first time of "The Face" series has extended the range for contesants involved, both of guys-and-girls can become a "The Face Vietnam". It is shown again on screen TV with two challenges: Catwalk with the hiding face in a hat and taking a photo with their true beauty in groups including two or three models, they have to perform before the judges. In the induction video, mentor Thanh Hằng with joining of mentor Võ Hoàng Yến even host Nam Trung, who were main judges for Vietnam's Next Top Model, while Minh Hằng first appears with as mentor role, after controversy with Hồ Ngọc Hà at season 2. After 3 months of completing the casting, 35 models passed to pick-team round. Three mentors's personalities are clearly revealed in pick-team ring like a reality story of Tam and Cam, if Hoàng Yến was an evil girl, oppositing Minh Hang was very sweetness. Thanh Hằng seems a calm and decisive leader. 15 models through to the common house.

In this episode, 15 models were taken to the common house, where they have a mini challenge from host Nam Trung, who have to run by their feet to dispute the rooms. Later, they meet Minh Hang at the master class about spoken skills inspired by speech. Long was a convincing victory with the special guest even other contestants.

15 models have to take a video with black-and-white clothings in this challenge's main theme "The Golden Has Returned Again". Three mentors are extreme tension in their errors. Mrs. Thiên Hương - who represent for Her World magazine, she chose team Thanh Hằng to win of the campaign. Hoàng Yên nominated Quang to get in dark room to be risky face to face with his ex-mentor, because Hoàng Yến thought Minh Hằng will be sent Mỹ or Bella, But she worried, Thanh Long, who is chosen, not both of them. So Quang have to leave of the competition. Hoàng Yến was loud with Thanh Hằng and she declare a war.

14 contestants moved to CITIGYM and they had a lesson body liberation with music under Hoàng Yến's guidance. It have 3 dancing styles: Hiphop, Strong by Zumba and Sexy dance. Như, Phúc and Mid balanced the score of the teams. After that Kiệt won the final victory for team Hoàng Yến.

They have been taking part in a promotion video for CITIGYM. Hoàng Yến was completely defeated with the weakest performance of the contest by her contestants. Mr. Thảo Quân chose team Minh Hằng to win, while other two teams showed a disapproving attitude, because she used to be the representative for this brand. In the black room, Brian and Kiên landed in the bottom two, Minh Hằng organized a dancing challenge to choose who was stayed. She gave Kiên added a chance to change in upcoming challenges. Hoàng Yến wasnot unexpected, she would like to fix named to "The Bè Lũ"!

13 contestants have been taken to Vietnam's shopping center - ROBINS, who were checked Mix-and-Match with different outfits by mentor Thanh Hằng. At the challenge, one member of each teams have to choose a fashion style such as: Street style, Sporty, Office, Rock and Glamour, only team Hoàng Yến has fewer than contestants among three teams, so Hoàng Yến's models will do two more time. Như is rectified for her disrespectful attitude by the judges. Phúc, Mỹ and Kiên, Chi added one points for team Minh Hằng and Thanh Hằng. And Nam received the final victory

Today's challenge, three teams have to take part in a viral video for MAC Cosmetics brand on a turning table tagged in a sidestep with the camera is hung in the air. They donot use speech but this during viral, the models will perform by their dancing skills. After two weeks lost, Hoàng Yến suddenly won the first victory. She entered the elimination room with landed in the bottom two are: Chi and Phúc. Phúc is contestant, who has to leave of the competition in this episode. Synonyms, Chi is stayed with her mentor.

Minh Hằng is once again stood at master class to guide acting skill for the contestants, she teaches about "eye contact", who has an exciting lesson and the contestants so worship her. At this challenge, the models have to pose with covering by their eyes in an artificial forest. Chi is winning with as good personal, who landed in the low at before elimination.
