The Big Bull

The Big Bull is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical crime film directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and Vikrant Sharma , Kumar Mangat Pathak.[1] The storyline is a retelling of stockbroker Harshad Mehta's life involving his financial crimes over a period 10 years, from 1980 to 1990.[2] It stars Abhishek Bachchan as Mehta.[3] Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz play supporting roles.[4] Principal shoot begun on 16 September 2019.[5] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will not be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on Disney+Hotstar.[6]

Production

In 2018, it was reported that Ajay Devgn will produce the film with Abhishek Bachchan to play lead role.[4] The film is directed by Kookie Gulati of Prince (April 9, 2010) fame and shows the financial crimes and life of Harshad Mehta. Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz were brought in to play supporting roles.[8]

The shooting commenced on 16 September 2019.[9]

Release

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will not be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on Disney+Hotstar.[6]

Soundtrack

This films soundtrack is composed by Guru Randhawa, JAM8 and Chandan Saxena. While the background score is composed by Sanjoy Chowdhury. The lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Guru Randhawa, Bhargav Purohit and Vayu.
