Sura Yekka
Sura Bayoru Yekka (born January 4, 1997) is a Canadian soccer player. She is a member of the University of Michigan women's soccer team and the Canadian national team.

Playing career
International
Yekka made her senior national team debut at age 16, on October 30, 2013 against South Korea in Edmonton, Alberta. She played the first half of a 3–0 win.[1] On May 8, 2014 she played the full 90 minutes of a 1–1 draw against the United States in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in front of the second largest crowd to ever watch a women's soccer game in Canada.[2] She scored her first international goal on December 6, 2015 against Jamaica in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, during the group stage of the 2015 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship.[3]
Personal
Though she was born in Toronto, Ontario, her family had recently moved to Mississauga.[4] Both of Yekka's parents are originally from Uganda, her father was born in Obongi while her mother is originally from Arua. She is a graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School.
